Hemomancer Guide for JUST ONE MORE ASYM

Learn Hemomancer's community-documented blood support role, resource checks, positioning, team play, and a safe method for verifying live mechanics.

Hemomancer is described by current community resources as a blood-themed support whose value depends on managing health, positioning, and team timing. That combination makes Hemomancer a poor autopilot pick: helping at the wrong moment may expose the support, consume a valuable resource, or encourage teammates to remain in an unsafe fight.

The official Roblox listing does not document the character’s abilities, price, or current numbers. Use the live character panel as the authority and treat community descriptions as a map of what to test.

Decide whether Hemomancer fits you

Choose Hemomancer if you enjoy watching the entire fight, tracking which teammate can be saved, and leaving before pressure reaches the backline. Do not choose the character only because healing sounds universally useful. A support who is isolated or depleted can create a second rescue problem for the team.

You should already be comfortable with movement, cover, and stamina. If those fundamentals still demand all of your attention, practice on Noob or another straightforward pick before adding health-resource decisions.

Verify the blood mechanics

Community pages associate Hemomancer with health manipulation, draining, and support effects. Before planning around those claims, read every live tooltip. Determine which resource each action spends, who can be targeted, whether line of sight is required, what range the interface communicates, and whether the effect is immediate or gradual.

Test one action per safe opportunity. Watch both your own bar and the target’s status indicators. Never assume that an older guide’s amount, cooldown, or self-cost survived a balance update. A reported high Points price is also mutable and must be checked at purchase time.

Backline positioning

Stand near cover and one rotation behind the frontline. You need a clear path to likely recipients, but you should not share the exact same lane as the player receiving pressure. If the Aberrant passes the frontline, move before finishing an optional support action.

Your ideal distance is close enough to help and far enough that the enemy spends time reaching you. On maps with elevated walkways, confirm that the route down remains open. Height without an exit can become a trap when an Adversary controls the only stair.

Triage during a chase

First ask whether your teammate can reach cover without help. If yes, preserve the resource. If no, ask whether supporting them also exposes you to the same threat. When both of you would be caught, reposition and communicate rather than doubling the loss.

Prioritize teammates whose role can still influence the exchange. A frontline holding a doorway or a controller opening an escape may convert support into a team reset. Supporting a distant player who continues running away from the group may only delay an inevitable isolation.

Working with the frontline

Tell Knight or another frontline where your safe support range ends. They should yield space before crossing it. Wrecker can discourage direct approaches to your position, but do not stack on the ranged angle; use separate cover so one push cannot remove both roles. Noob can watch the side lane and communicate when you need to rotate.

Support is a contract. The recipient must use the extra time to escape, stabilize, or complete a coordinated play. If they treat it as permission to chase, stop feeding resources into the same mistake.

Risk checklist

Before using an action

Check your resource, the target's route, the nearest threat, and your own exit.

During the effect

Watch for an Adversary entering from a side lane. Cancel or move if the live mechanics allow it.

After helping

Reposition before repeating. Predictable backline locations invite a coordinated collapse.

After an update

Retest costs, ranges, cooldowns, and target rules instead of assuming the support loop is unchanged.

Common Hemomancer mistakes

Do not spend health or another resource simply because an ability is available. Do not stand in open space to maintain visual contact. Do not follow a single teammate so far that the larger Survivor group loses its support. Most importantly, do not hide your own low-resource state; tell the team when you cannot cover another exchange.

Avoid exact healing or damage expectations from memory. If an action now behaves differently, a teammate may commit based on support you cannot provide. Use clear language such as “one support action ready” rather than promising an unsupported number.

Practice progression

In your first round, focus only on survival and identify two safe support positions. In the second, help a frontline disengage and immediately rotate. In the third, practice refusing a bad rescue and regrouping with the majority. This teaches that support judgment includes saying no to an unwinnable lane.

Hemomancer questions

Is Hemomancer a healer?

Community documentation places Hemomancer in a support role involving health or blood mechanics. The current tooltips determine whether “healer” fully describes the live kit.

Is Hemomancer beginner-friendly?

Usually not as a first character. Resource management, target choice, and backline awareness add cognitive load beyond basic movement.

How much does Hemomancer cost?

Community sources report a high Points cost, but prices can change. Confirm the live selection menu before saving or spending.

What should I test after a patch?

Retest resource costs, target restrictions, ranges, effect amounts, duration, cooldowns, and whether using an action exposes or slows Hemomancer.
