JUST ONE MORE ASYM centers on an official 4v13 premise: one AI-controlled Aberrant and player-controlled Adversaries hunt 13 Survivors who may run or stand their ground. That first-party description supports the core match identity. Community guides also document named special rounds, including Death Sentence and Archfactors, but their availability, cadence, modifiers, and exact rules can change.

Use the live pre-round and match interface as the authority. A special title, role assignment, timer, or objective shown there overrides an older guide.

Mode index

Do not assume these are the only modes that can appear. Events and updates may add or remove rounds without every community page updating immediately.

Read the mode before selecting a plan

Watch the pre-round banner, side assignment, character restrictions, objective text, timer, and any modifier icons. Confirm whether the normal Aberrant and Adversary relationship still applies. Special rounds may change which side a character occupies or what ending condition matters.

Tell the team the visible rule, not a remembered rumor. “The interface says survive until this timer” is actionable. “This always happens every fixed number of rounds” is unsafe unless the current game demonstrates it repeatedly.

Standard responsibilities

In the core format, Survivors gain value from loose formation, protected supports, route callouts, and enough stamina to answer both hunter layers. The AI Aberrant creates direct pressure while player Adversaries reveal, control, trap, or burst from other angles.

Survivors should fight only with numbers and an exit. Adversaries should take complementary angles instead of trailing directly behind the AI. The Standard mode guide turns that structure into a round plan without inventing an objective that the official description does not publish.

Special-round adjustment loop

  1. Read the live mode name and objective.
  2. Check your assigned side, character, actions, and any locked selections.
  3. Identify what differs from the standard 4v13 assumptions.
  4. Make one conservative test instead of committing the whole team to an old strategy.
  5. Rebuild roles around the observed threat, timer, and map.

This loop is more reliable than memorizing a schedule. Even if the named mode remains, its values or eligible characters can change.

Formation by objective type

Survival timer

Preserve routes and resources. Do not take an optional fight merely because the team currently has numbers.

Boss pressure

Separate the current target from supports, rotate frontline responsibility, and observe attack tells before committing damage.

Altered teams

Confirm who can help whom. Standard character expectations may not match the special assignment.

These are planning categories, not claims about a specific mode’s current victory condition. Match them only after reading the live objective.

Rewards and progression

Do not assume a named mode guarantees a bonus, badge, Points multiplier, or EXP amount. The official VIP pass confirms a 1.25x EXP and Points perk for owners, but it does not publish base rates or special-mode payouts. Check result screens and current game text.

If you compare rewards, record the mode, result, pass ownership, server date, and any visible multiplier. One round is not enough to establish a permanent formula.

Map and mode interaction

A strategy that works in an open arena may fail on a narrow bridge or building route. Read the map at the same time as the mode. Choose a regroup landmark, two exits, and a lane for the current threat before combat begins.

The Maps hub describes community-named arenas through landmarks rather than fragile left/right directions. Verify that the current map version still contains each route.

Evidence rules for mode advice

The official experience page supports the current overall 4v13 description and AI/player role distinction. Death Sentence and Archfactors details come from current community documentation. Exact schedules, chances, round counts, stats, character transformations, victory conditions, and rewards remain live-build data unless the current interface shows them.

When sharing an observation, include the date and visible mode. Do not merge a special-round mechanic into the Standard guide simply because the same character model appeared.

Create separate notes for each named round. Record the banner wording, assignments, objective, timer, map, visible modifiers, and result condition. If one field is not shown, leave it blank. This prevents a rule observed in Death Sentence or Archfactors from quietly becoming “normal JOMA” advice.

Repeat the observation before calling it stable. A single server may be running an event, private-server option, or recently changed version. The safest player guide explains what the interface says now and gives a fallback when it does not match an older expectation.

Read Standard before special rounds so you recognize what changed. Use Death Sentence for an altered-rule checklist and Archfactors for boss-style threat preparation. The beginner guide covers the fundamentals that transfer between modes.

Mode questions

What is the main mode?

The official experience description presents a 4v13 confrontation with one AI Aberrant, player Adversaries, and 13 Survivors. It does not publish every objective detail on the listing.

How often do special rounds appear?

Community sources report rotation patterns, but cadence can change. Observe the current server and do not promise a fixed interval.

Do special modes use the same characters?

Do not assume so. Read the live assignment and selection restrictions each time.

Are rewards higher in special modes?

No permanent mode payout is verified here. Compare current result screens while accounting for VIP and other visible multipliers.
